Open Surveys Supporting Our Communities

The Puget Sound Climate Preparedness Collaborative is conducting a short Community Needs Survey to better understand if and how local governments, Tribes, and organizations across the Puget Sound basin are preparing for the impacts of climate change and what support is needed to help with that work.

The Community Needs survey is being conducted as part of a three-year federal grant recently awarded to the Collaborative to support local work on climate preparedness, including direct assistance to smaller jurisdictions and Tribes via a forthcoming Small Communities Cohort Program. Your input will help shape the Collaborative’s technical assistance and learning programs, ensuring that the work is responsive to local needs. More about the Collaborative and ways to get involved is included here. We are interested in hearing from staff and elected officials in jurisdictions, public agencies, and Tribes in the Puget Sound basin. If you work in emergency management, planning, infrastructure, public health, natural resources, sustainability, economic development, social services, or related areas, we want to hear from you. This survey is not just for those who are currently working on climate change!

The survey has also been translated into Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, Dari, Spanish, Khmer, Somali, and Vietnamese. Social media and printable flyers are available here.
